🎪 Why Are We Upgrading Our Carnival Games?
At Odinn’s Legacy CIC, our number one goal is helping as many animals as possible. Every penny donated to us is used for the purpose it was intended, whether that’s food, veterinary treatment, welfare support, fostering assistance, or helping owners through difficult times.
In an ideal world, we wouldn’t need to raise money at all. Unfortunately, times are hard, costs continue to rise, and more animals and owners are finding themselves in need of support. That means fundraising is more important than ever.
Many of our carnival games were built several years ago. When they were first created, we never imagined we would still be using them five years later. The fact that we are still running them today is actually something we’re proud of because those games have helped generate thousands of pounds for animal welfare projects.
Years of use have taken their toll. Our games now need to become stronger, lighter, easier to transport, quicker to set up, and far more exciting for visitors.
By upgrading our carnival attractions we can attend more events, reduce setup times, improve reliability, and create a bigger visual impact. If a stall takes all day to set up, it limits the events we can attend. If we can reduce setup time to around an hour, we can start attending many more events throughout the year.
More events means more awareness, more conversations about animal welfare, more donations, and ultimately more help for animals who need us.
Over time, all of our games will be upgraded to include lights, sounds, scoreboards, interactive features, and smarter technology to make them more fun, more engaging, and more memorable for visitors.
